During an event hosted by the Center for Reproductive Rights, coinciding with the Supreme Court’s intense deliberations on a Louisiana abortion law, Schumer issued a cautionary statement to the two justices.

“I want to tell you, Gorsuch. I want to tell you, Kavanaugh. You have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price!” Schumer said. “You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions,” Schumer said.

After his statements, there were several comments outside the court building. Some described it as a threat and file complaints to the Senate Ethics Committee and New York bar’s Grievance Committee, alleging that Schumer broke the rules.

Schumer responded to McConnell who snapped at him immediately by admitting that the words he used did not come out the way he intended to. He did not apologize but excused himself claiming that he is from Brooklynand that they speak in strong language.

The complaint emphasized that the Senate must immediately reprimand, if not censure, Sen. Schumer for his outrageous and dangerous attack on Supreme Court Justices Gorsuch and Kavanaugh.
